APARTMENTS & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Keep drain-line problems from becoming resident problems.

A restricted condensate line can mean an urgent work order, entry into an occupied apartment or water damage that reaches the unit below. Unclog gives maintenance teams a proactive, repeatable way to help keep compatible drain lines clear.

ONE RESTRICTION. MORE THAN ONE CONSEQUENCE.

A drain-line problem can move through the building.

In multifamily housing, the equipment problem and the visible damage are not always in the same place. A restricted line can affect the resident, surrounding finishes and the apartment below—then add another urgent item to the maintenance queue.

ONE PORTFOLIO. DIFFERENT BUILDINGS.

Standardize the process—not the assumption.

Apartment properties are not mechanically identical. The repeatable part is the review: identify the equipment, follow the drain path, confirm an accessible compatible termination and select the right installation approach.

FIT THE INSTALLATION TO THE PROPERTY

Flexible where needed. Hard-plumbed where preferred.

Use the included collapsible hose and fittings for a fast connection, or hard-plumb PVC directly at the side inlet for a permanent professional installation. The side outlet can also be hard-plumbed when the site requires it.

A REPEATABLE MAINTENANCE CYCLE

Set the process. Let it repeat.

Unclog supports connected scheduling, offline recurring operation and manual on-site control—without a recurring inventory of tablets or liquid treatments.

PORTFOLIO ROLLOUT

Start where the burden is highest.

A focused pilot gives the property team a real installation standard, operating interval and expansion plan.

Plan Your Pilot
  1. PHASE 01
    Find the pattern

Identify repeat problem areas, common floor plans and compatible drain-line terminations.

  2. PHASE 02
    Build the standard

Install a defined pilot group and document placement, connection and scheduling.

  3. PHASE 03
    Measure field impact

Review maintenance effort, service access and operating consistency.

  4. PHASE 04
    Expand by building type

Apply the proven approach across compatible properties and configurations.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FAQ

Questions maintenance teams ask first.

Does one Unclog protect an entire apartment building?

No. Unclog is installed at the end of each compatible independent condensate drain line. A property review helps determine which lines are compatible and how many units are appropriate.

Which multifamily HVAC systems are compatible?

Compatibility depends on the equipment, gravity-drain configuration, accessible termination, power and installation location. Pumped drains and systems without an accessible compatible termination require review.

Can installation help reduce entry into occupied units?

Where the compatible drain termination is accessible outside the residence, Unclog can support recurring care without entering the unit. Actual placement depends on the building's drain routing and site conditions.

Can Unclog run without resident or property Wi-Fi?

Yes. Offline scheduling options are available in addition to connected app scheduling, and the maintenance team can run a manual cycle on site.

Where is each unit installed?

At the accessible end of the compatible condensate drain line and below the level of the primary drain pan, with access to 110V power and an appropriate discharge location.

Can we start with one building or problem area?

Yes. A focused pilot can help your team confirm compatibility, establish the workflow and decide how to expand across the property or portfolio.
