RETAIL, RESTAURANTS & SHOPPING CENTERS

Keep condensate-line work out of business hours.

When customers are shopping, dining or moving through the property, a restricted A/C drain line is more than a maintenance issue. Unclog helps facilities teams make compatible condensate-line care scheduled, repeatable and easier to manage across locations.

ONE DRAIN ISSUE. AN ENTIRE SHIFT FEELS IT.

There is no convenient time for a customer-facing interruption.

A condensate restriction can create urgent work in a sales area, kitchen, dining room, stockroom or shared property space. The response competes with the work already required to keep the location open.

  1. OPENINGThe team prepares the location.

Equipment, inventory, food prep and customer areas all need attention.

  2. TRAFFIC BUILDSA drain problem becomes visible.

Water exposure or an urgent service visit now overlaps with customers and staff.

  3. THE INTERRUPTIONOperations work around maintenance.

Access, safety, cleanup and communication become part of the response.

  4. AFTER CLOSEThe labor cost keeps going.

The team still has closing work—and now a reactive maintenance task to resolve.

DIFFERENT OPERATIONS. THE SAME NEED FOR CONTINUITY.

Built around the way each property operates.

RETAIL STORES

Protect the sales floor from avoidable disruption.

Move recurring drain-line care toward a scheduled process instead of waiting for a restriction to demand access during store hours.

  • Customer areas
  • Stockrooms
  • Multi-location standards
RESTAURANTS

Keep maintenance from competing with service.

Kitchens, dining rooms and back-of-house areas already run on tight timing. Repeatable condensate care helps facilities work fit around the operation.

  • Back of house

SHOPPING CENTERS

Review each tenant and common-area system correctly.

Multi-tenant properties can contain different equipment, drain routes and responsibilities. Evaluate compatible lines independently, then standardize what works.

ONE TENANT. ONE INDEPENDENT LINE.

Map the property before you scale the program.

Unclog installs at the accessible termination of a compatible independent gravity condensate line, below the primary drain-pan level. In a shopping center, that means each tenant or common-area system is evaluated on its own.

can quietly become a standing labor expense.

PUT FACILITIES TIME BACK ON HIGHER-VALUE WORK

Skilled people should not spend the day repeating a task that can be automated.

When a location repeatedly clears condensate lines, every cleanout pulls time from inspections, repairs, vendor coordination, safety work and the rest of the property’s preventive-maintenance plan. Unclog uses recurring suction cycles to help keep compatible lines clear without a recurring inventory of tablets or liquid treatments.

INSTALL TO THE SITE STANDARD

Flexible connection or clean, hard-plumbed PVC.

Use the included collapsible hose and fittings when flexibility helps, or hard-plumb PVC directly to the side inlet for a more permanent professional installation. The side outlet can also be hard-plumbed; for many outdoor installations, local discharge may be appropriate when site conditions allow.

RETAIL & RESTAURANT FAQ

What facilities teams ask first.

Every property is different. These answers are the starting point for a compatibility review.

Does one Unclog cover an entire shopping center?

No. Unclog is installed at the end of each compatible independent condensate drain line. Tenant and common-area systems should be reviewed separately.

Can Unclog be used on restaurant HVAC systems?

Potentially. Fit depends on the equipment, gravity-drain configuration, accessible termination, power and installation location. Pumped drains and inaccessible terminations require review.

Can the installation be hard-plumbed?

Yes. An installer can hard-plumb PVC directly to the side inlet, and the side outlet can also be hard-plumbed when the site calls for it. The included collapsible hose and fittings remain available when flexibility is preferred.

Does it need Wi-Fi at every location?

No. Offline recurring operation is available in addition to connected app scheduling, and a technician can run a manual cycle on site.

Can we pilot only a few locations?

Yes. Starting with a focused group is a practical way to confirm compatibility, document installation and evaluate a broader rollout.
